As conveyor belts are the key element of conveyors, it is very important that they are manufactured in accordance with applicable standards and later tested in order to confirm nominal parameters. In this paper, four types of axial testing of conveyor belt samples are presented. The required ambient test conditions and the required test device are described. An overview of tests is given where it is stated how tests are performed and it
is explained how to interpret the obtained results.
