3D printing is a technology that is increasingly used in many engineering fields and education. This technology is primarily used in rapid prototyping and rapid tooling. In this paper the geometrical accuracy of FDM (Fused Deposition Modelling) 3D printing is presented. For the dimensional test process, a 3D model which contains the characteristic geometrical shapes and dimensions that were used as a reference for measuring on the
coordinate measurement machine, has been created. The CAD model was created in SolidWorks software, the model was printed on the Ultimaker 2+ 3D printer and the measurement has been proceeded on the Zeiss Contura G2 coordinate measuring machine.
