Abstract

The remains of natural and artificial materials in the textile industry are a problem in the technological process because it is a continuous production of waste and related to the need for everyday care. In Bosnia and Herzegovina there are currently no facilities for the material utilization, recycling or reuse of textile waste. Municipal waste disposal cannot be the place for its final disposal. On the other hand, textile waste contains potential for use as an energy source and the cement industry with specific advantages in the use of alternative fuels is the optimal solution for the disposal of waste from the textile industry from the ecological and economic point of view.
