This study investigates the forming of the inside radius in thin sheet bending using nonlinear simulations in SolidWorks. Various V-die sizes were analyzed to evaluate their influence on the bending process. Simulation results were compared with actual bent components and existing data from literature to assess accuracy and reliability. The findings demonstrate a strong correlation between simulated and realworld results, confirming the validity of SolidWorks' nonlinear simulation
capabilities in predicting material behavior during air bending. These insights contribute to improved die selection and process optimization, ensuring enhanced bending accuracy for manufacturing applications
